History

The beginnings of TKK date back to 1850, when the mining and chalk trade emerged on the site where the company is located today. The Kreda company, the predecessor of TKK, was founded on the site in 1947. With several development milestones in the following decades, TKK Srpenica became an independent, joint-stock company in 1990. A remarkable business success led the company to become one of the world's leading polyurethane foam producers by 2007 and in 2013 TKK was taken over by the Belgian multinational company Soudal.
