- Moistening the surfaces and foam – lightly moisten the substrate to improve adhesion and spray the foam with water after application to accelerate curing.
- Optimal can temperature – the can should be at room temperature to ensure the best yield.
- Shaking the can – shake well before use to ensure a homogeneous consistency.
- Partial filling of gaps – fill openings to a maximum of 70% only. The foam expands on its own, overfilling results in unnecessary waste, extra cost and additional trimming work.
- UV protection – once installation is complete, protect the foam, as it is not UV resistant.

- Remove the protective tape immediately after smoothing, before the sealant begins to cure.
