But before you do that, it’s important to repair any waterproofing damage (cracks or leaks) that may have occurred during the winter, usually due to precipitation and low temperatures.
Now there’s an easy solution — HydroBlocker F2-lastic, a new two-component waterproof coating perfect for protecting your balcony or terrace. This product was specially developed for surfaces exposed to weather conditions and maintains flexibility even at low temperatures. That means you can enjoy the outdoors worry-free, without concerns about moisture or weather-related damage.
Why choose HydroBlocker F2-lastic?
Thanks to its unique additives and polymer dispersion, the cured coating HydroBlocker F2-lastic offers excellent mechanical properties, strong adhesion to the substrate, and retains flexibility even in cold conditions. It bridges cracks up to 1 mm in width. HydroBlocker F2-lastic is resistant to water penetration without pressure (such as rain) and to pressurized water up to 1.5 bar, which makes it suitable even for waterproofing pools. It is also resistant to chlorinated water.
It is applied as a liquid waterproof membrane directly beneath the final surface layer, whether ceramic tiles, mosaic, or natural/artificial stone. When using elastic waterproof membranes like HydroBlocker F2-lastic, a finishing layer is required, as the membrane remains flexible even after curing and is more sensitive to mechanical damage compared to rigid coatings.
HydroBlocker F2-lastic is a new two-component waterproof coating. It is based on a blend of cement binder, selected fine-grain sand, special additives, and polymer dispersion. This specially formulated product is suitable for waterproofing balconies and terraces, as well as swimming pools.

Easy to use
HydroBlocker F2-lastic is simple and user-friendly. It comes in the correct mixing ratio of the two components, which are combined to form a homogeneous mixture. The mixture can be applied with a brush or trowel on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. The substrate must be properly prepared beforehand: clean, dust-free, grease-free, without old coatings or poorly bonded areas. Before application, the surface should be thoroughly moistened with water. The coating is applied in two perpendicular layers, with a total thickness of 2 mm.
After just a few days, you can lay ceramic tiles or another finishing layer, which will further enhance the resistance to damage. For optimal installation, we recommend using an improved cement adhesive of type C2.
