Safety as a Key Priority

For fire safety reasons, the warehouse is physically separated from other facilities. It is located at least 15 meters away from neighboring buildings and at least 28 meters from land outside the company’s ownership, allowing easier access for firefighting vehicles and reducing the risk of fire spread.

The entire facility is constructed as a containment basin, capable of retaining the full volume of stored chemicals as well as firefighting water.

Active Fire Protection

The warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems, including:

  • automatic fire detection with smoke detectors and temperature-sensing cables,
  • gas detection (seven Dräger detectors connected to the gas and fire alarm control panels),
  • smoke and heat extraction system,
  • external hydrant network,
  • 24-hour on-site security service.

The total storage capacity amounts to approximately 765 pallet positions for IBC containers, distributed across individual storage sectors.

Digitally Managed Warehousing

The SAP EWM system enables automated warehouse management and the separation of incompatible chemicals (environmentally hazardous, flammable, corrosive, and harmful to health) based on master data in the system. This further reduces risks and ensures full traceability.

At the opening ceremony, guests and employees were addressed by the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Uroš Lozar, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Bovec, Mr. Valter Mlekuž, who both emphasized the importance of the investment for the company’s development and the safety of the local environment.

The event was attended by numerous representatives of national and local institutions, as well as civil protection and rescue services:

  • Danijel Krivec, Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia
